With a number of directorships held at companies operating in various industries coupled with a position on the PLUS Advisory Panel, he has provided regular commentary and opinion at both Trade and City forums, as well as to the National and International media. |

Robert, a BsC Economics and MBA graduate, began his career at ThrogmortonInvestment Management in 1987, initially as a smaller companies analyst and latterly as a fund manager of specialist small cap pension funds. When Throgmorton merged with Framlington, Robert took on balanced pension fund remits. Robert joined F&C (Formerly ISIS Asset Management plc) in 1995 to support the launch of the AiM Trust and manage the AiM VCTs. He was also manager of The Discovery Trust. In 2005 Robert left F&C along with two colleagues to form the new specialist smaller companies investment boutique Bluehone Investors LLP. Robert is a chartered member of the Securities Institute. |

A Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Gordon has 20 years claims experience gained predominantly in the adjusting and claims management sector but also on consultancy secondments to major UK composite insurers including the delivery of strategic change initiatives on a national basis. |
